This site's a joke, right?

...right??? Somebody tell me it is.

I want to know where I can buy stock for this comedian?

Once Comedy Central signs him up, it will make me rich!

Fulmer v. Kiffin

Fulmer had his day at UT but he has lost his coaching touch...his offense was out of sync and he let too many good coordinators go...e.g. Trooper Taylor. Needed to get a good OC to replace Cut but picked the wrong person, especially with three green QBs.

Kiffin brings not only a fresh outlook but an offense mind. He also brings his dad who is the father of "Cover Two" defenses. Monte will attrack top H.S. players who are interested in playing in the NFL real soon. He will teach them the defense that will help them succeed on Sundays. Because of their youth, the players will have to work hard to understand how the Cover Two works...this could take some time...hopefully before next year's Florida game in the swamp.

QBs will learn quickly from Kiffin and whoever he brings in to teach them the pro-style offense.

I have been following he Vols since 1964 and this could easily be the best coach since Bill Battle took over for Doug Dickey...

I agree with some that Lane may only be around two or three years before he goes back to the NFL...but he will just keep the HC job warm for Payton when he retires from the Colts.

Go Vols...Go Lane...and Monte too...

Offensive Coordinator was Fulmer's downfall

I agree that loosing coach Cut ultimately led to Fulmer's downfall. I don't blame it on coach Clawson. It seems it usually takes at least a year before a team really gets an new offensive system. It was just bad timing for the whole thing.

Fulmer deserved shot at fixing offense

Like he stated, he had never had back to back losing seasons. Everytime in the past when a problem was going on Phil quickly fixed it, so it's obvious he could have this time. I think Fulmer would have hired Kippy Brown as offensive coordinator and we would be back in good hands on that side of the ball. No doubt we could have got him this year because all of Detroits coaches will be fired. I think we pulled the plug a year too early. Sure there were tough times but this was really the only bad team Fulmer has had. I know 05' had a losing record but all the games were close and we beat the SEC West champions LSU. So really it was his first bad team. You don't can a man for 16 years of hard work with just one bad season.

Terrible post Anonymous, I really think you should be banned from here.

What exactly did Trooper

What exactly did Trooper coordinate? I thought he was solely the chest bump coach.
